BOB’S HAIRSTYLING AND PSYCHIC CENTER
Batman has his Batcave and Superman has his Fortress of Solitude; Bob Holbreck, a working class hero, has his barbershop. It’s the base of his operation. The shop is located in an older section of the city, in a neighborhood on the up-swing of urban renewal. It’s a popular part of town with many specialized boutiques, antique shops and eateries. Bob’s establishment is neat, retro, comfortable, and a safe place to hang out and get a great haircut.
As Bob styles hair, he will build a psychic clientele. He will network and monitor paranormal activity. The shop will also act as a “safe” house for many powerful or cursed artifacts that Bob acquires while working paranormal cases.
Bob can schedule appointments or handle walk-ins.
Oh, and he lives in the apartment above the shop.
THE PSYCHIC UNION
The offices of the Psychic Union take up the whole of the City’s historic Wells Building – not so much because they need the room as because nobody wants to share space with them. Despite the fact that this city’s chapter is protected by the world’s most powerful psychic industry is the most psychically protected places on Earth. An impenetrable psychic shield protects its occupants

MONTANA GRANDE CEMETERY
This cemetery is older than the city. It’s ancient, mystical and scary. Vast rolling hills are filled with the extravagant marble mausoleums of the wealthy and the crumbling head stones of the forgotten. A place of relative peace and tranquility during the day, but, if one listens close, one might be able to hear whispers on the breeze and feel cold touches on the shoulder.
At night, be warned; necromancers and spirits like to come out and play. It’s built over a Native American burial ground, which has severely angered the spirits. They make it known that trespassers are not welcomed. It’s bad medicine.

This rising landscape of mortar, steel and glass is a thriving cosmopolitan metropolis that never sleeps. It’s historical, diverse and an exciting backdrop for a new kind of hero. A city where the elite prosper and the down-and-out always have an alley way to seek refuge. The up-side of the metropolis is a sleek and expensive splendor. The rich spend extravagantly and live fast. The seedy underbelly of the city is a dark and brooding contrast. And, as usual, the middle class struggle to maintain an existence in between.
